Founding Engineer
Propperly is building a governed context layer that helps organizations preserve and maintain the knowledge, decisions, definitions, and contradictions their people and AI agents rely on.
The core system is working and has already been validated through real-world reconstruction, governance, and customer POCs. We are now looking for a senior founding engineer to help turn it into a repeatable enterprise product.
You will work directly with the founder to:
- Productize and deploy the existing platform.
- Build reliable ingestion, integrations, and incremental maintenance.
- Develop focused human-review and governance workflows.
- Enable agents to access trusted organizational context through MCP and APIs.
- Work with early enterprise customers and turn recurring deployment needs into reusable product capabilities.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an independent, product-minded senior engineer with strong backend and systems experience. Experience with B2B software, data platforms, enterprise deployments, developer tools, or AI agents is especially relevant.
This is a hands-on founding role with substantial ownership over the product, architecture, and the company's first production deployments.
